Candyman Catering Refund Policy
At Candyman Catering, we strive to provide excellent service and ensure that your event is a success. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our refund policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued.
1. Booking Cancellations
- Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility will depend on the timing of your cancellation:
- More than 14 Days Before the Event: If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the scheduled event, you may be eligible for a full refund of any deposits or payments made.
- 7-14 Days Before the Event: If you cancel your booking within 7-14 days of the event, a 50% refund of your deposit or payment may be issued, as we will have already incurred costs in preparation for your event.
- Less Than 7 Days Before the Event: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are not eligible for a refund, as it is unlikely we will be able to rebook the equipment or services.
2. Cancellation by Candyman Catering
- Service Unavailability: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., equipment failure, staff illness), we will offer a full refund of any payments made or provide an alternative date for your event, if possible.
3. Refund Process
- Refund Requests: To request a refund, please contact us at simon@candymancatering.co.za with your booking details and reason for cancellation.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during booking.
- Partial Refunds: If your refund is partial, the amount will be calculated based on the specific circumstances outlined in this policy.
4. Non-Refundable Items
- Custom Orders: Any custom items or services that have been specifically ordered or prepared for your event are non-refundable.
- Last-Minute Bookings: Bookings made less than 7 days before the event are generally non-refundable due to the immediate nature of the service.
5. Event Rescheduling
- Rescheduling Your Event: If you need to reschedule your event, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. If we are unable to accommodate the new date, the refund policy outlined above will apply.
